As we write this we are at the beginning of February and shivering in the grip of the blast of arctic cold which the second month of the year so often brings with it in the northern hemisphere. It certainly seems to bear out the old country saying that ‘as the light lengthens, so the cold strengthens’.

The potent effect of solar flare activity

January was certainly a potent and powerful month energetically and one that brought forth opportunity and challenge in full measure. Many people have found themselves facing new levels of clearing, with old emotional patterns and relationship issues being particularly highlighted. The intensity of this clearing has a relationship to the greatly increased level of solar flare activity that we experienced during January because as this energy reaches the earth it affects the earth’s magnetic fields and our emotional bodies along with it. This is basically a very positive process that is helping to clear away what no longer serves us, however it can become a challenge if we do not recognise that it is leaving and simply detach and let go.

The Aquarian dynamic

During February we come under the influence of the constellation of Aquarius, represented by the symbol of the water bearer. Although this energy is magnified while the sun is in Aquarius, it is also a consistent and potent force that will continue to influence us for the next 2000 years as we move through the Age of Aquarius. The airy and expansive energies of Aquarius stimulate the awakening of higher consciousness and bring to the fore the spiritual values of unity, sharing and brotherhood, humanitarian principles that will eventually result in the creation of those things that are for the collective good of humanity as a whole.

So this month we can expect to find ourselves becoming more aware of how well we are aligned with Aquarian principles in our current thoughts and beliefs and being prompted to make changes where necessary. With both Mars and Saturn retrograde throughout this month we will also find ourselves in a period of review and reassessment of both our work and relationship situations.

Our Changing Relationship with Time.

We have been pondering recently why so many people seem to be experiencing a loss of direction in their lives, often characterised by a sense of disorientation and inability to move forward, especially over recent months. It came to us that this has to do with our changing relationship with time so we decided to share our thoughts with you in case they are in anyway helpful. As we see it we have recently moved into an even more accelerated period of change in which our emotional and mental bodies are being gradually altered by the influx of high frequency energies pouring onto the planet. As we all know, this has had the effect of releasing many of the deep old patterns of behaviour which have been our reference points in third dimensional reality. These reference points are also what have held us into the third dimensional time structure of past and future. As they dissolve we have a much greater access to present time but as yet, lack the focus and awareness to engage with the creative potential available to us when we are in present time.

Present time waits for our command

Literally present time waits for our creative command but we have become so used to riding up and down on the seesaw of past-future time that we have forgotten this, so disorientation and loss of direction become our experience. Past – future time as experienced in the third dimension is directly related to the rational mind, whereas present time connects us with the guidance of the higher mind through the heart. The information that we need to redirect our lives is available to us in present time if we focus on connecting with it and recognise that the information that we receive may not necessarily seem logical to the rational mind even though it registers as truth in our hearts. The enhanced Aquarian influence this month will tend to make this expansion of consciousness into the higher mind very available to us so lets make the most of this opportunity to move into the driving seat of our lives.

2012 brings powerful new opportunities

As we write this we are at the beginning of January 2012 looking forward over the coming twelve months with a sense of anticipation, excitement and perhaps even a slight touch of uncertainty.

The beginning of a new year is traditionally a time of re-evaluation when we choose to get rid of old things, ideas and ways of behaviour in favour of a new vision for the future. This seems set to be a particularly important theme this month as well as throughout the whole of the coming year.

The prevailing planetary influence for most of this month comes to us from the constellation of Capricorn, represented by the sign of the mountain goat in traditional astrology and the unicorn in esoteric astrology. The higher frequencies of the powerful earthy energies of Capricorn will be encouraging us to reach beyond our limitations and to become the responsible citizens, leaders and custodians of our planet that we are destined to become. There are several powerful and expansive planetary alignments that will be supporting this transformative impulse and which indicate the potential for the discovery of new and innovative solutions to current world problems. Encouragingly these will be solutions that are for the benefit of all people based on right use of the world’s resources rather than those that provide personal gain and empowerment for a few as has been the situation so often in the past.

A new template for life

This coming year holds the potential for incredible breakthroughs in consciousness, the seeds of which were sown at the 11 11 11 gateway and anchored more deeply during the solstice last December. In effect a new higher frequency template for life has been activated and grounded into the Earth and within all human hearts, instigating a process of repatterning for all of us.

This is the most incredible gift, albeit one that will bring us the challenge of change in full measure. With the anchoring of this new template many of the old ways in which we have lived life up to now no longer have any roots to tie them into our current reality. Everything that resonates to the old template must either find a higher octave of expression or be released in favour of something new. This leaves us with the interesting thought that it is simply habitual patterns of thought and behaviour, whether conscious or unconscious, that are now all that hold our experience of life into the familiar old mould that is so obviously beginning to crumble in so many ways around the world.

So with the energy flow this month supporting deep transformation this is an excellent time to evaluate with care whether we are seeking to achieve the goals that we have set ourselves for the coming twelve months based on past experience and old habits or are we allowing ourselves to be guided by the voice of higher wisdom anchored in our hearts. This will undoubtedly be a steep learning curve for us all, however the more that we align with the new template the more we will find ourselves in the flow of new ideas and mutually supportive, creative solutions.

As we write this we are at the beginning of December and contemplating the fast approaching end of yet another amazing year and the fact that, impossible as it might seem, we are now just one month away from the beginning of 2012! We have needed several reality checks over this past year but this one is definitely one of the biggest yet.

The energetic patterning that was set in place during November, particularly at the 11 11 11, has created a powerful wave that will take us forward this month and on into 2012. There is a new strength and purpose within this patterning that feels unlike anything we have previously experienced and it seems set to bring forward change on all levels and with increasing intensity as we go forward into the coming year. Change is of course not a new theme for any of us, however with an assortment of planetary alignments supporting change on a grand scale this month it is certainly something we can expect to see more of.

Sagittarian Illumination

During December we come under the prevailing planetary influence of the constellation of Sagittarius, which brings forward the energetic qualities of clear vision, clarity, focus and purpose. Esoterically, Sagittarius rules the higher mind and the intuition as well as inspiring wisdom and truthfulness. As we enter December we are one week into a three-week period of retrograde Mercury, and in between the partial new moon solar eclipse of November 25 and the full moon lunar eclipse of December 10th. 2011 has been an unusual year in many ways, so it will probably come as no surprise to discover that the unusually high number of eclipses that we have experienced this year are an occurrence that will take place only six times throughout the whole of the 21st century.

Eclipses tend to change the way that we perceived things and there is no doubt that this is exactly what we are being requested to do this month, both at an individual and collective level. The illuminating influence of Sagittarian energies will be encouraging us to re evaluate our beliefs and ensure that they are motivationally aligned with the wisdom of our higher truth. Mercury retrograde will further encourage us with this endeavour as it supports introspection, review and reassessment of all kinds. As Mercury turns direct shortly after the full moon lunar eclipse on December 10th be prepared to move forward and take action based on the reorientation and insight that you have gained during this period of review. In the clarity and focus of Sagittarian energy it is likely that it will become extremely clear what needs to be done next whether this is at a personal or collective level.

Endings and Beginnings

Reflecting on all this made us recognise that the moment in time that we are all now experiencing is indeed that time which we have all worked towards for many lifetimes and that we are so very fortunate to have the opportunity to be here making our contribution to the unfolding of the new Earth. There is no doubt that the gift of new Life that we all received at 11 11 11 is there for the taking if we choose to receive it fully into our hearts and minds and allow it to wash away what does not resonate with our highest truth. However, herein lies the challenge for all of us. Since we have free will we must individually and collectively make the choice of how we will respond to the choice we are now offered. New Life means exactly that, a new beginning, however we cannot move forward into the new, carrying ‘baggage’ that relates to the old energy that we have walked in for many lifetimes. In the penetrating focus of Sagittarian energy this month it is likely that we will see with great clarity what changes we need to make in order to align more fully with this great gift of new beginnings. This is not an energy that will encourage or support resistance so whatever comes up for you remember to detach and observe, so that you can chose to make change with grace and ease.

As we write this we are at the beginning of November and fully into the flow of Scorpio flavoured energies that are the prevailing influence for the month. The watery energies of Scorpio encourage us to reach deep into the depths of our selves and to face that which is needed to bring about a more complete unity with our true self or soul. As we are all very aware this greater unity does not happen without some resistance from the personality self. This struggle, between the personality and the soul is one that the human family is now collectively experiencing as we face the need to unite the physical and spiritual aspects of ourselves in order to evolve. It is a struggle that is vividly portrayed for us in the mythical story of Hercules and his quest to slay the nine-headed hydra; that powerful symbol for the personality self. So altogether, it seems that this month will be a month of great opportunity and potential for us all as individuals and as a collective, though one unlikely to be without its tests and challenges.

The energetic highlight of the month is undoubtedly the full moon on November the 10th closely followed by the opening of the long awaited 11-11-11 gateway. Once again we are being gifted with a flow of light and potent high frequency energies designed to further stimulate our inner awakening and help clear away that which no longer resonates with our true self. This great flow of light will also be assisting mother earth to make some necessary adjustments so that she can continue her ascension with ease and grace. Absolutely in alignment with the focus of the energies of Scorpio it will stimulate the expression of higher truth and unity consciousness.

A Gift of New Life

Reflecting on this made us realise just how important it is that we all recognise and take responsibility for anchoring this great gift of life giving energy as it flows in on 11-11-11. The human kingdom is the link or bridge between the world of spirit and the other kingdoms of life on earth and as such it is our responsibility as members of the human family, to become the channel through which this energy can be received and used to its fullest. It is truly a gift of new life and it has the capacity to short-circuit any old 3D patterning and disrupt the often destructive loops that we have now been going round and round in for aeons time so that something new can be created. Since it is likely, at least in the short term, that the noise and chaos of change in the world will increase as this energy does its work, it is particularly important that we all do our best to see with clarity what is really going on and choose not to get caught up energetically in the old as it leaves. Above all lets remember that miracles happen when new life giving energy is allowed into old situations that have run their course.

The vibrational resonance of the date 11 11 11 carries both the opportunity for new beginnings as expressed through the vibration of the number one and the potential for revelation, greater unity and spiritual connection represented by the master number 11. Over recent years, as we have moved ever closer to 2012, dates with vibrational signatures like the 11 11 11 have become significant as energy portals or gateways through which new high frequency energy can be sent into the planet to promote the expansion of consciousness necessary for us to evolve into a 5th dimensional consciousness.

The powerful, high frequency, energies that will flood into our planet through the 11 11 11 gateway this year will trigger ancient codes within our energy fields that will align us more fully with 5th dimensional consciousness and the pathway of ascension that we are all collectively walking at this time. The more consciously we are able to work with this energy the more it will be able to expand our awareness, help break up old patterns and enhance our connection with our multidimensional selves and the Divine.

This year there will be a great focus of attention around the world on the 11 11 11 as many people of like minds and hearts join together to receive and anchor this energy as it flows into the planet. This in its self makes this a powerful date so no matter where you are on 11 11 11 at 11 o’clock take a few minutes to connect your intention for transformation with that of the group consciousness through the power of the One Heart and become a part of the collective bridge that will allow this energy to anchor fully into the earth.

As we write this we at the beginning of October and fully into the flow of Libran energy that is the prevailing planetary influence for the month. Libran energy speaks to us of the need for harmony, balance, justice and fairness in all our relationships, whether these are internal or external. It represents the balance of opposites and will bring into our awareness those choices and decisions that need to be taken now, in order to create more balance and fairness, especially in the field of human relationships.

It will not have escaped anyone’s notice that the process of change and transformation that we are all collectively going through has accelerated recently and October seems set to be a month in which it will again step up in intensity. The powerful planetary alignments that will be influencing us this month will be supporting the evolutionary flow of change with a seriousness and intensity that cannot be taken lightly. We can therefore expect that this month will be one of great opportunity for us as a collective but also one in which we could be faced with the challenge of sudden change or unexpected events that arise seemingly out of the blue. Inequities and imbalances that create tension in relationships of all kinds will also tend to be highlighted this month, especially around the time of the full moon on October 12th (02.07 GMT). Altogether it seems likely to be an interesting month and one in which we will need to pull on all the harmonising, balancing abilities of the flow of Libran energy that are available to us right now.

Negotiating Change

We can all look back over our lives and recognise that those difficult moments of crisis and challenge that we experienced were in fact the catalysts that we needed to move us forward in our lives at the time. This seems to us to be very much the situation that we are now facing as a human family. In order to evolve we must collectively be willing to move with the evolutionary flow of change within which we currently live. Rather than focus on the chaos that this process of change inevitably brings we must find the courage and strength to see beyond the immediate problems to the higher vision and purpose of the changes being requested. It can be helpful to remember in this context that we are not the victims of a force of change beyond our control, rather we are an integral part of the process and that we are each here at this time because we have a part to play in it. The forces that guide our evolution are steering us collectively in a new direction and while some of us are aware of this in our everyday consciousness, many are not as yet. It is therefore up to all those of us who are more awake to ensure that we maintain an energetic balance that will help to contribute as much balance and stability to the unfolding situation as possible. Since we are linked as a collective through our energy bodies it is particularly important to recognise the power of mass emotion in difficult or challenging situations and to cultivate the ability to observe with detachment.

The influence of Libra this month will be helping us all to walk that important ‘middle path’ of balance that will allow us to negotiate whatever changes come forward in a way that contributes positively to the collective endeavour.

As we write this we are enjoying the earthy, feminine energies of the constellation of Virgo, the prevailing planetary influence for the month of September. Esoterically Virgo represents the synthesis of personality and soul into a harmonious unit, creating potential for the birthing of new ideas and expanded consciousness into the material world. This ability to illuminate the everyday world with greater soul light is the highest potential of this energy and is at the heart of the impulse to serve that often characterises those who have a strong Virgo influence in their astrological chart. Virgo’s influence this month will therefore tend to bring into awareness any areas of our lives that are not fully in alignment with our true purpose, particularly in relation to the work that we do in life. It will bring forward an opportunity for us to ensure that we are using our individual gifts and talents in the way that maximises our contribution at this time of great transformation. We are further blessed this month with some particularly potent and harmonious planetary alignments that will stimulate and enhance positive transformation of our core values in life. So we can expect the energy this month to support us in healing separation issues, encourage greater alignment with our higher purpose and prompt us to act on new plans and ideas.

Healing Separation

Reflecting upon the synthesising qualities of Virgo energy and the call to greater service that it brings forth made us recognise once again how easy it can be for us to swing between spirit and matter rather allowing them to integrate into a fully functioning unit of consciousness. Pondering the reason for this brought recognition of the enormous collective thought form that has built up around this issue and that currently sponsors the unconscious tendency to separate human experience from spiritual experience. However, in reality it is only through the acceptance of human experience and our own incarnational choices that synthesis between spirit and matter can actually be achieved. It is this very synthesis that is at the heart of the transformation that is now taking place on our planet and within each one of us. The potent transformational energies that are now flowing into our planet are making it possible for this thought form to be healed and released for the first time in aeons of time.

So as we see it, it is now very important that we recognise consciously and with clarity, that all dimensions and levels of experience exist within the same vibrational space and that with awareness, focus and practice we can learn to be fully present in our everyday physical experience yet still maintain an awareness of, and connection with ourselves as spirit. From the expansiveness of this dual perspective much that was previously invisible becomes visible and available to us. This includes the common experience for many right now of re experiencing, often with painfully clarity, the old emotional wounds and situations that have contributed to our experience of separation. Uncomfortable though this may be it is good to recognise that this clarity is only available because we are now able to hold a different perspective than previously. If we do not get too caught up in the apparent ‘reality’ of the old experience it will quickly move through and disperse leaving greater unity in its place. We can also take heart from the recognition that every time we make new choices as an individual, we weaken the collective thought form and contribute to its release and transformation.

The energies of Leo

As we write this we are fully in the flow of the prevailing planetary energy for the month of August coming to us from the constellation of Leo, represented astrologically by the sign of the Lion. Esoterically the energy of Leo represents ‘the light of the soul’ and embodies the universal principles of Love & Freedom. Astrologically the fiery energies of Leo are associated with the sun and like the energies of the sun itself, need to be treated with due respect. In its highest aspect Leo energy promotes the ability to be a creative, fully self-conscious individual yet able also to use that individuality in the service of the soul and for the good of humanity as a collective. In the often hard fought struggle to become a conscious individual it can be all too easy to forget that the best expression of this independence comes when we allow the soul’s light to illuminate how we can best use it.

We can therefore expect this month that the energies of Leo will be encouraging us to recognise those areas within ourselves that need greater refinement to allow us to stand firmly in our own individuality and power. At the same time they will also bring into our awareness where we need to strengthen our connection with our soul so that greater illumination can flow through into our everyday lives. There is a fine balance here between these two requirements and it is a balance that is likely to come into even greater prominence in world affairs under the Leo spotlight this month, particularly around the time of the full moon on August 13th.

Become the change now.

As we reflected on all of this we were reminded of the apt and oft quoted statement of Mahatma Ghandi; ‘be the change that you wish to see in the world’. For us these simple but powerful words very much sum up what the energy this month is all about. For some time now we have all been learning to absorb and hold the great waves of high frequency light that have been flowing through us and our planet in ever increasing intensity. This light has been gradually changing us all from the inside out as well as instigating change of major proportions in our outer world. This is the great planetary awakening that we have all been waiting for for so long, however it is very important that we do not just sit back and expect it to happen around us. Particularly it is important that we do not fall into fear and focus on what is breaking down or not working anymore. Like the individual blobs of colour that make up a kaleidoscope picture we are all required to contribute our part to the greater picture of what is being created right now for our future. In other words we must each choose to become the change that we wish to see in the world. Essentially this is a choice to become visible for who we truly are and to bring forward our unique gifts and talents with a willingness to use them to contribute to the creation of a new reality.

The energies this month will be strongly encouraging us all to reflect upon our future choices as well as helping to illuminate the way forward if we are willing to see it. Most of all they will be posing us the question; ‘what will you choose?’ So as you contemplate this question this month remember that the blueprint for the particular picture that we are all co creating already exists on a higher level and that you as a soul already know how you can best contribute. Ask the question in your heart and the answer will soon become clear. For some that answer might bring great change into their outer life while for others it may simply mean choosing to radiate a particular positive vibration into the world. Whatever you choose we will be right there with you looking at how we can become a greater force for positive change in the world.

Following on from the two eclipses and the solstice that took place during June the new moon solar eclipse on July 1st clearly signalled the beginning of a new cycle for us all, a new beginning that is now being taken up and expanded by the flow of Cancerian energy, the prevailing planetary influence during July. Esoterically Cancer is associated with the principle of rebirth and is seen as the gateway into a new cycle of lives for individual souls coming into incarnation. From a collective perspective it brings us a cosmic breath of new life and an opportunity for re-evaluation and transformation on a global scale.

The Energies of Cancer

Traditionally the nurturing, watery energies of Cancer are associated with home and family, our roots and foundations in life. It can be easy to simply associate ‘home’ with the physical place in which we live, however seen more esoterically this can also be related to our physical body in its capacity as a ‘home’ for our soul. The energies of cancer will therefore not only be highlighting those areas that require change in our everyday home life but also those that are needed to allow greater soul light into our physical form. Each of us is being requested to learn to ‘light our own lamp’ and to hold that light steady so that change and transformation can take place in the world with as much grace and ease as possible. No pressure here then!!

The Human Family

As we reflect on this it seems to us that it is important to keep in mind that while each of us at an individual level might find ourselves making some fundamental changes in our personal lives, the greatest opportunity and challenge lies in the changes that need to be made in relationships within the human family as a collective and also in the relationship we have with our planetary home, the Earth. With increasing rapidity old structures and ways of doing things are simply dismantling and unravelling around us, a clear signal that it is time for us all to take up our responsibility to help create the foundations for a new pattern of living for the future. This month the highest frequencies of Cancerian energy will be impulsing us to find ways in which we can serve the common good and to bring new levels of compassion and sharing into our everyday world.

As we write this we are enjoying the glorious and abundant roses that are in full bloom all around us at the moment and contemplating the astonishing fact that we are already in the sixth month of the year with the June solstice only just around the corner. The month of June takes us into the prevailing planetary influence of the constellation of Gemini, represented astrologically by the sign of the twins. In its highest form the energy of Gemini promotes harmony and synthesis in relationships of all kinds through the fusing of polarities. Experienced on the physical plane through the everyday personality, this energy can tend to exaggerate conflict and unresolved polarity in order that harmony and balance can ultimately be achieved. We can therefore expect that these energies will be encouraging us to seek balance, harmony & right relationship in all areas of life.

We will experience the synthesising aspects of the energies of Gemini most profoundly at the time of the full moon on June 15th as we celebrate the Festival of Goodwill, the third of the three great spiritual festivals for the year. This is the time when the accumulated energies from the two previous festivals (those in Aries & Taurus) are synthesised and made more available to humanity. Through the outpouring of the combined energies of Love & Wisdom we are given the opportunity to celebrate the true spirit of humanity and to bring greater harmony to the polarity of spirit and matter through the recognition of our divine nature. In practical terms this means that there will be greater inspiration for us all to promote unity and brotherhood through the understanding and resolution of the many conflicts that still rage, in both our inner and outer worlds. The full moon lunar eclipse on June 15th will particularly offer an opportunity to become more aware of those shadowy issues that that need to be brought into the light of greater understanding so that changes can be made.

The Spirit of Right Relationship

It seems to us that at this time of heightened perspective around the spirit of relationship we might all do well to reflect on the relationship that we have with ourselves since it is this relationship that provides the foundation for the creation of greater harmony and balance in the world around us. The energies available to us right now are extremely transformative and will support every effort that we make to promote greater synthesis and unity. However they are also ruthless in their ability to bring forward those areas of ourselves where old patterns and habits create unconscious limitation. The good news is that these old issues will now clear very quickly if we can simply let them go without resistance. However this requires acceptance and the ability to observe the situation from as high a perspective as possible.

Discernment rather than judgement

As we see it one of the biggest ‘spanners in the works’ when it comes to the spirit of right relationship is the inbuilt tendency that so many of us have to promote polarity through falling into judgement. Often we can manage to restrain ourselves where others are concerned but are not so lenient when it comes to ourselves! Judging a pattern or issue within ourselves will pull us right into the very vibration that we are wishing to release, making it difficult to let it go. However if instead we choose to move into the heart we can find a point of balance from which we can hear the wisdom of the soul and observe the personality from the more neutral space of discernment that allows transformation to take place. Right relationship with our self grows from this space and profoundly affects our relationships with others and the world in which we live.

It is clear that the spirit of right relationship must be fostered with in ourselves before it can become a real force in the world. From this perspective there are two important inner relationships that need to be balanced and synthesised in order that a strong foundation for right relationship is created. Firstly there is the relationship between our inner masculine and feminine energies and secondly there is the all-important relationship between the personality and Soul or true Self.  Unless the polarity between the inner masculine and feminine energies is balanced it is very difficult for us to maintain an active working relationship between soul and personality.

From the foundation of inner unity and synthesis our relationships with others and the world around us take on a new dimension, one in which we are able to put the personality based perspective aside, in favour of one that sees life as a group endeavour in which we all have a responsibility to contribute for the good of the whole.
