We have just passed through the 8-8-8 Lions Gate, an energetic portal that opens every year at this time, bringing a renewed focus to change and transformation. Amongst other things it is an opportunity to leave behind anything from the past that does not have relevance for our future going forward. The number eight is representative of ‘as above, so below’ so the focus is on bringing greater alignment between heart & mind and soul & personality. There is also a very strong alignment between the Earth and Sirius during the time that this portal is open, which again provides opportunity for energetic re patterning to take place to help us to move forward.
Possibly you have been feeling the effects of this energetic opportunity over the last week or so leading up to last weekend. Certainly energetic readjustments of this nature have an effect on our own energetic systems, since everything must readjust to allow the changes to reflect through every level of existence. At a higher level, where our energy bodies are more flexible and responsive this happens relatively easily, however at the denser levels of the mental, emotional, etheric and physical bodies it can be a more challenging proposition because it takes longer for adjustments to be integrated. Often it is the etheric body that is particularly impacted at times like these so it is important that we remember to nurture and support this aspect of ourselves as much as possible.
The etheric body is part of our subtle energy system, a vibrating web of energy that forms the dynamic blueprint for our physical body.
