In this month’s Essence Review we have chosen to look at the Inner Strength combination.
This combination deals with an issue that is fundamental to the achievement of spiritual maturity, the ability to stand in our own balanced personal power. This is an issue that is very visible in the world around us right now. You do not have to look very far at all to find seemingly unending examples of imbalances and mis-perceptions in our understanding of how to use personal power in a balanced way.
While our consciousness has been confined to a dense third dimensional patterning we have all had many opportunities to explore the polarity of weak/strong related to our own personal power. The ego/personality has taken a bad rap for becoming out of balance in this respect and misuse of power has become something that many spiritually aware people are now extremely wary of, often to the point of being afraid of their own power.
For many this manifests as a belief that personal power is undesirable and that they must subjugate their personal will to that of a ‘higher’ authority. This is turn leads to a lack of inner resolve and a feeling of dis-empowerment and lack of inner strength which is extremely counterproductive when it comes to fulfilling our soul’s purpose for incarnation.
To explore this further look to see whether you can feel a gap in your energy field when it comes to giving yourself permission to use your personal will and power to achieve something. Do you easily take up the position of powerless or feel that you lack the inner strength to do the things that you really feel are important to you in life?
If so take a moment to explore where those beliefs came from – perhaps they have been handed down to you through family patterning and you have simply accepted them without question. Maybe you unconsciously fear that you could misuse your power in some way. If you take yourself into your heart and connect with your inner being you will be able to see that this would be impossible from a consciousness based in love and that it is now time to let this old patterning dissolve so that you can bring more of your soul light and power into the world.
