Incredible though it seems, 2011 is almost complete and we are now only a few weeks away from the beginning of a new year and fully into the whirl of extra activities that the Christmas festive season inevitably brings forward. The energy this month is also somewhat potent and intense, with a tendency to challenge us in unexpected ways, so with this in mind we thought that in this edition of Essences for Sharing we would offer a few suggestions for essences that might be particularly good to help you negotiate the coming weeks with grace & ease.

Some remedies to help

In our experience there is nothing better than a well-selected combination of Bach Flower Remedies, taken often, to quickly restore everyday equilibrium and balance for all the family. Olive, Oak  & Elm are great to revive flagging energy, while Vervain and White Chestnut can very quickly calm over excited youngsters or indeed grown ups! This month we will be under the influence of the constellation of Scorpio, which will present us with more opportunities to unstick ourselves from the maya of illusion by choosing to allow the light of higher reasoning and intuition to overturn the old patterns of the lower mind.

It is increasingly important that we all maintain a strong inner connection to our own truth and light and continue to be very aware of when we are operating from that place and when we are not. Simply noticing when we have unconsciously fallen into old patterns diminishes their power over us and provides the opportunity to move back into a place of greater empowerment and choice. Sometimes however despite the fact that we can see that we have simply forgotten to be conscious of the higher perspective of a situation the issues that are triggered off are so intense that we cannot immediately find the way back into that place of higher consciousness. This is when some well-chosen essence combinations can be an invaluable assistance.

Some Essences to Help….

So let’s start this month with a few suggestions to help those states that are most commonly triggered off when the lower mind is intent on keeping control. Three of the most common states triggered off in this situation are fear, doubt or uncertainty and lack of self worth. Although we talked about essences for fear last month it is probably worth repeating the information here as many people are currently finding themselves caught up in this difficult and debilitating state. Vibrational essences are of course a wonderful way to work on old unconscious patterns and the fragmented parts of yourself that are in need of love and reintegration. The correct essence combination can very quickly adjust your vibrational frequency and help you to recognise any issues that are blocking your way forward.

Fear is perhaps the most potent energy that we all carry and the one that will most quickly pull us out of a positive vibrational alignment, so lets start with some reminders of essences to help transform our fears. Doubt and lack of self-value, as well as lack of self-confidence will also seriously affect our ability to follow through with new goals and intentions. In recent years Healing Herbs has successfully challenged the trade marks throughout the U.K. courts right up to the House of Lords, and has now successfully challenged Nelsons E.U. trademarks in the European courts as well. Congratulations to Julian Barnard and Healing Herbs!

Julian described the courts decision as "a very clear decision" which made a number of telling findings including:-

1. Both the specialised public and the general public considers the terms descriptive and generic

2. Healing Herbs had filed “abundant evidence” to show the terms were generic

3. Nelsons/BFRL failed to prove that the terms had acquired distinctive character when they filed their applications

Showing large sales and advertising expenditure was not good enough

Describing the result Julian said "We are very pleased that our proceedings have been successful; justice has again been done."

The result means that all of those many people across the European Union, who use the terms Bach and Bach Flower Remedies to describe their own or other people’s flower remedies made in accordance with the original directions of the late Dr Edward Bach can do so freely

Currently it seems that we do not have the luxury of this integration space, as we are sure that you will all have noticed. This is because Earth is now completely within the photon belt and we are therefore feeling its influence consistently rather than sporadically.
