Mustard - Bach Flower Remedies
Mustard - Bach Flower Remedies

Gloom or depression which comes and goes for no apparent reason.

Mustard - Bach Flower Remedies
Mustard dispels gloom or depression, that often feels like a weight or black cloud overhead. These feelings of despair come, and go for seemingly no apparent reason. Mustard casts out the clouds bringing back joy and sunlight.

Dr Bachs description of Mustard:-
"Those who are liable to times of gloom, or even despair, as though a cold dark cloud overshadowed them and hid the light and the joy of life. It may not be possible to give any reason or explanation for such attacks. Under these conditions it is almost impossible to appear happy or cheerful".
From the Twelve Healers & Other Remedies - By Dr Edward Bach ( 1936 edition )

Dr Bach placed Mustard in the Insufficient Interest in Present Circumstances Group

Centaury - Bach Flower Remedies
Centaury - Bach Flower Remedies

For those that can at times be weak willed or subservient.... The Centaury remedy, helps us to develop a stronger will and greater sense of ourselves.

Centaury - Bach Flower Remedies

Unable to say "no". Often taking on too much and tiring themselves out. A distorted view of service. Lacking willpower, the weak mind frequently resulting in a weak body. Folks needing Centaury often lack individuality, being so influenced by stronger personalities. This essence brings strength and the ability to say "no" without guilt, when necessary.

Dr Bach's description of Centaury:-

"Kind, quiet, gentle people who are over-anxious to serve others.
They overtax their strength in their endeavours. Their wish so grows
upon them that they become more servants than willing helpers.
Their good nature leads them to do more than their own share ofwork,
and in so doing they may neglect their own particular missionin life."
From the Twelve Healers & Other Remedies - By Dr Edward Bach ( 1936 edition )

Dr Bach placed Centaury in the Oversensitive to Influences and Ideas Group

How To Use:- To do this you can put 2 drops of each remedy required into a clean glass dropper bottle containing up to 30ml of spring or spa water, adding a teaspoon full of brandy or cider vinegar as a preservative. You can also put 4 drops into a glass of water and sip. We would recommend a dosage of 8 x a day for chronic states and every 30-60 minutes for acute states, reverting to the normal dosage when more balance has returned.

The Beech remedy, made from the flowers of the beautiful Beech trees, helps us when we feel intolerant or critical of ourselves or others.

Beech - Bach Flower Remedies

For those very critical and judgemental of others. Often irritated by people's little habits. Very intolerant and with a fixed outlook, often bringing rigidity of the body. This remedy brings greater tolerance and an ability to view life with a wider perspective.

Dr Bach's description of Beech:-

"For those who feel the need to see more good and beauty in all that
surrounds them. And, although much appears to be wrong, to have
the ability to see the good growing within. So as to be able to be
more tolerant, lenient and understanding of the different way each
individual and all things are working to their own final perfection."

Agrimony - Bach Flower Remedies
Agrimony - Bach Flower Remedies

Agrimony Bach Remedy
Without doubt the Bach Flower Remedies are still the most popular and well known flower essences around the world. From their beginnings in the 1930's to their popularity now, the Bach Flower Remedies have an understandably enduring appeal. The 38 remedies are named after Dr Edward Bach, who discovered them in the 1930's, and are simple, natural and gentle acting remedies. Over the next few months we'll take a look at each the 38 Bach Flower Remedies starting with the Agrimony remedy which is the first of the 38 Bach Flower Remedies.

Agrimony
Agrimony Bach Flower Remedy
For those putting on a brave face when inwardly in turmoil and worried. Bottling things up, sometimes exploding in anger, unable to express their feelings when necessary, liking to keep the peace, at much cost to themselves. They may be restless at night, or suffer throat problems. Brings peace and an ability to communicate happily.

Dr Bach described his Agrimony Flower Remedy as:-
"The jovial, cheerful, humorous people who love peace and are distressed by argument or quarrel, to avoid which they will agree to give up much. Though generally they have troubles and are tormented and restless and worried in mind or in body, they hide their cares behind their humour and jesting and are considered very good friends to know. They often take alcohol or drugs in excess, to stimulate themselves and help themselves bear their trials with cheerfulness."
The Twelve Healers & Other Remedies - By Dr Edward Bach ( 1936 edition )
Agrimony is in Dr Bach's - Oversensitive to Influences and Ideas Group
