Addictive or obsessive behaviour often stems from energetic blocks in the Sacral Chakra. It is particularly important for those working with this issue to learn to feel and express their emotions. Fuelling this issue at an unconscious level is the belief that we require something from outside ourselves to make us feel complete. If this issue is not fully worked with it is not unusual to find that you will release one dependency only to replace it with another until the real issue is brought into balance. Some of the more commonly recognized forms of addictive behaviour are dependency on tobacco, recreational drugs, alcohol, food, relationships or work.
