We are really not sure how we could have arrived at the midpoint of the year already but somehow here we are already at the beginning of June. Maybe everything feels so strange this year because the weather has been exceptional in only giving us our first real taste of summer a few days before the month began.

Even the roses in our garden that are normally in full bloom by the beginning of June seem to be unsure of the time of year and are currently still thinking about it! No doubt the much-needed warmth and sunshine that we have had over the last few days will bring them into flower very quickly now.

We have certainly been activated by the appearance of the sun and been out making lots of mother tinctures to catch up on the backlog while we had the opportunity. Long may it last! Hope you have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and the natural world this month.

The Energies of June

As we begin the month of June we are between eclipses, and you may well be feeling as though you are in a strange, unsettling portal of time where you are unsure of how to proceed. If this is the case for you, just allow and move with it, all is well.

The powerful south node lunar eclipse on May 26th brought completion to anything old and outdated while the new beginnings that will follow are still to arrive with the north node solar eclipse on June 10th. Lean into the unsettledness and allow it to show you the way to something new and important for your future.

The whole of June and beyond may well feel intense and unsettling as we negotiate the need for re-evaluation and redirection in our lives. As unsettling as it might feel this is a hugely positive period of opportunity and one that we would do well to approach with respect and a degree of focussed intention.

New Moon Solar Eclipse & Mercury Retrograde

The north node, new moon eclipse on June 10th in Gemini will open up an opportunity for a collective new beginning that will eventually take humanity onto a new trajectory for the future. This is also true for us all as individuals as well, so it will be important to be very aware of the personal choices that you make around this time.

Allow yourself the freedom to allow change and flow in your life based upon positivity and inspiration. Rather like a large ship changing course, changes in our collective reality will take time to manifest and things may continue to look anything but new for sometime to come yet. Stay focussed on the direction of travel and let the necessary chaos and disturbance of change take its course.

Mercury will appear to move backwards in the heavens from our perspective here on Earth from May 29th to June 22nd. This period of mercury retrograde takes place in Gemini with Mercury very close to the sun at the time of the solar eclipse on June 10th. Gemini is a very mentally orientated planet and Mercury as the ruler of Gemini is comfortably at home in this position.

We can use this energy most productively by using the free flow of inspired ideas and information that it can provide to stay positively focussed on what we want to create for ourselves.

Saturn Uranus Square

The square between Saturn and Uranus will be exact for the second time this year on June 14th, bringing to the fore themes already explored in February. This is not a comfortable energy because it brings into sharp focus the conflicting themes of old versus new and authority versus freedom.

Pay attention to anything that is triggered off for you this month around power, control, and the need for freedom. Stay balanced and listen to your intuition rather than act out old patterns. It is all part of the process of change and a helpful energy when used wisely.

Summer / Winter Solstice

Depending upon where you are in the world you will either experience the longest day or the longest night of the year as the sun reaches its furthest point of travel into the northern hemisphere on June 20 / 21st.

In the UK the solstice is exact at 04.32 am UK time on June 21st, as the sun moves from Gemini into Cancer. This solstice will again bring us an influx of high frequency light, love, and new coding to enhance our evolution, both personally and collectively.

This will be a powerful time to meditate, absorb and integrate what we are so lovingly being gifted.

Full Moon

Following on the heels of the solstice we have a powerful full moon on June 24th, exact at 7.39pm UK time. With the sun in Cancer and the moon in Capricorn, the energy flow around this full moon could bring some intense emotions to the surface especially where our emotional security and relationships are concerned.

If difficult emotions are triggered for you at this time remember to take a step back, breath and allow the storm to pass. Give yourself time to get a new perspective on the situation before you take any action.   

The Influence of Gemini

For a large part of June, the prevailing planetary influence comes to us from the constellation of Gemini, represented in western astrology by the glyph of the twins.

The two brightest stars in the constellation of Gemini are named for the twins Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology, twin brothers born to the Queen of Sparta one with a mortal father and the other fathered by the immortal Zeus.

They serve as a reminder of our own mortal and immortal aspects and remind us of the need to bring balance to the inner polarity of personality and soul that is ever present within us. 

The constellation of Gemini focuses the potent forces of the second Ray of Love & Wisdom, so while the sun is in Gemini, we receive a heightened flow of the unifying, harmonising energies of unconditional love. This energy will join forces with the other influences in the cosmic line up this month to offer us a heightened awareness of where we might still need to bring balance and harmony into the polarities of the past.

Managing Your Vibration with Purpose

The ability to consciously manage our vibrational frequency is becoming ever more important as we negotiate our way through the ongoing transformational shift taking place on Earth.

There are many differing realities currently being played out in our world, many of them are still based in the old paradigm of polarity consciousness, but there are also a fast-growing number that are providing pathways into the more expanded unity consciousness reality that is our future.

All of these ‘realities’ are valid and feel very real to those that play in them. All of them have information and ‘truths’ attached to them based in the level of consciousness that relates to that particular stream of reality. Modern technology gives us 24/7 access to all of these differing ‘realities’ at once if we so desire, a situation that means we need to be very discerning when we choose what we are going to give our attention to.

Choosing Consciously

The divergence between the polarity-based realities and the unity consciousness, heart-based ones is becoming greater and will continue to do so for the next few years. The dissonance that this creates in the world can be a huge distraction and if we are not extremely mindful, we can find ourselves giving too much of our attention to a reality that we do not support or want to experience, rather than focussing on what we do want.

We all know that what we put our attention on grows, yet how often do we remember that we are powerful creators shaping our reality through the quality of our thoughts and feelings. All of our thoughts and feelings carry a frequency and the ones that we allow to consistently dominate will be those that create the vibrational beacon that summons the forces of the universe to assist us with our creations.

Now, is the time to consistently manage your vibrational frequency so that it aligns with the reality that you wish to experience yourself and would like to be the dominant reality for humanity in the future. Seek out positive, heart orientated environments that support you in this and as much as possible avoid those that have a dominant focus in polarity-based frequencies such as fear, anger, control etc. Your heart will always guide you with this if you take time to listen to its wisdom.

Recycling Old Frequencies

Of course, there will continue to be times when something triggers you and old emotions and thoughts come into your awareness that are not as positive and heart based as you would like. Remember that this happens to all of us and that you always have a choice of how to respond. Do you allow those old emotions to dominate, or do you take a breath, step back from the situation, and just allow yourself to feel what has been revealed to you so that the energy can flow through and be transformed?

You could think of this as a helpful system of recycling that allows old stuck energies to be transformed into positive higher frequency versions that are more useful to your creative process.
