Some important key words for us in this month’s energy flow are fluidity, change and creative adaptability. In the UK we have just had a fantastic opportunity to discover how connected we are to these qualities as we all did our best to negotiate the very un-spring like weather that arrived here from Siberia at the beginning of this month.
For us at Crystal Herbs it was the first time in more than 25 years that we were unable to open for business due to extreme weather conditions. For three days, like so many others cut off by blizzards and freezing temperatures, we just had to allow and try to go with the flow as we waited patiently for nature to move into a new gear. Glad to say that we are now back to normal again!

The Energies of March
March promises to be an interesting month with plenty of fast moving energies providing us with multiple opportunities for change.
It could be easy to feel that you are being pulled in all directions at once in this energy flow, so a focus on staying centred and grounded might be particularly helpful over the coming few weeks.
The energies of the full moon on March 2nd brought a powerful and somewhat unsettling focus to any aspects of ourselves that still require resolution and integration before the end of the astrological year. The new moon on March 17th will bring the perfect opportunity for us to review and set our new goals and intentions in place ready for the Equinox and the beginning of a new astrological year on March 20th.
The focus of the energies this month is very much on moving us forward and helping us to release anything and everything that is not needed for the coming twelve months cycle, so expect to find yourself involved in making changes both internally and externally over the coming few weeks.
Change can sometimes feel unsettling but also very freeing if we can be adaptable enough to go with the flow rather than try to resist the process.
Mercury turns retrograde from March 22nd through to April 15th so pay particular attention to the finer details of external communications of all sorts during this period and use the enhanced opportunity that this period provides for us to expand our connection into our own inner world. This year March ends as it began illuminated by the energies of the second full moon of the month on March 31st.
The Influence of Pisces
The sun moved into Pisces on February 19th initiating a magnification of the qualities and ray energies associated with this constellation.
In western astrology Pisces is represented by the sign of two fish apparently swimming in different directions while held together by a thread, a symbol that is a constant reminder of the illusion of separation and the need for personality and soul to operate as one.
This is an increasingly important theme right now as we continue to integrate the new fifth dimensional template for life more fully into our physical reality. We are being asked to confront the illusion of separation in multiple ways as old stories and beliefs that have their foundation in the old template are pushed to the surface of our awareness to be reviewed and rewritten.
Kindness, compassion and adaptability are all qualities stimulated by the flow of Piscean energies, so do remember to invite them in this month; everything will transform easier when held within these vibrations.
Holding the Light
The equinoxes and solstices are important points of focus in the year when the Earth and humanity receive particularly powerful downloads of high frequency light containing new coding and instruction for our spiritual growth and further evolution.
Some important key words for us in this month’s energy flow are fluidity, change and creative adaptability
Each one of these downloads builds upon the previous one and the amount of light that we receive is increasing each time, as our capacity to absorb and integrate it grows.
The equinox on March 20th will certainly be no exception to this and the energies that we receive over this period will provide further opportunity for renewal and expansion of consciousness.
Energies designed to stimulate expansion of conscious inevitably bring about change of some kind, whether that is internally, externally or more likely nowadays, both at once. This is where we might find drawing upon the qualities of fluidity and creative adaptability could be very helpful this month. Remember as you do this that we are each an important cog in the wheel of change.
The energies that we receive over the equinox need to be absorbed and integrated by as many conscious people as possible so that they can be used to best advantage. Those of us that are a little more awake and aware can make a big difference by consciously opening to receive what is being gifted to us and then allowing new choices and perspectives to flow into our everyday lives.
Most importantly, allow the energies of the equinox to illuminate the Christ Consciousness grid within your own heart and then consciously reflect this to those around you and into the golden grid within the Earth. Everything naturally rearranges itself in this energy, so you can become a potent force for change and transformation on the planet without leaving your chair or uttering a single word! Just receive, hold and absorb what is provided.
Essence Suggestions for March
Paying attention to the vibrational frequencies that we allow to become a part of our life experience is becoming ever more important.
In our current reality we have a vast range of frequencies available to us contained within what might be described as various parallel realities. Some of these ‘realities’ exist within the old 3rd/4th dimensional patterning and others relate to the new 5th dimensional template. Currently they run side by side as we consciously or unconsciously make creative choices about how we want to experience life.
The choice of emotions and feelings that we hold most consistently in our awareness create a filter that determines which ‘reality’ we experience. The inflowing energies this month will again be offering us the opportunity to review and adjust anything in our filtering system that is out of alignment with the new template. So, with this in mind, let’s take a look at some essences that might be particularly supportive with this process.
Strong Energetic Foundations
Firstly, strong energetic foundations are crucial to our ability to anchor and hold higher frequency energies. Our three lower chakras are constantly having to adjust and expand their function to accommodate the changes we need to make in this regard. The base chakra is particularly important here as it provides a very necessary anchor point for our multidimensional self, so if you find yourself struggling to stay grounded, connected and on purpose this month you might well find either a Base Chakra, Being Present; becoming grounded or an Earth Star combination very supportive. Difficulty with creativity, adaptability or flowing with change might indicate either a Sacral Chakra or Creativity; restoring individuality combination would be helpful. The solar plexus chakra is another energy centre that often needs support as we evolve and grow. If you struggle to stay focussed in your own energy, are overly affected by situations and people around you, depleted of energy or struggle with control issues then a Solar Plexus combination is for you. Expanding into the Consciousness of the Heart
Fifth dimensional consciousness is heart based, unity consciousness, something we are all familiar with when we connect with the vibrations of our multidimensional self through the heart chakra. The still point within the heart is also where we need to go to open fully to receive and absorb the high frequency energies that will be on offer to us this month, so here are some suggestions for essence combinations that can help to expand this all-important energy centre.
