Currently though, March seems more determined to live up to its name as the month of wind than offer us more spring like weather. Still, despite the potentially damaging effect of too much wind there is something exciting about the turbulence and changeable nature of this weather pattern that very much reflects the energetic potential of the next few weeks.

The Energies of March
March promises to be an eventful month energetically, one that is full of potential if we can successfully ride the waves of change and embrace the new beginnings that it will bring forward.
The new moon on March 6th coincided with a big planetary shift of energy created by Uranus leaving Pisces to take up residence in Taurus, where it will remain for the next seven years. This movement of cosmic energy has probably already taken your focus of attention into a new area of your life, possibly revealing where an overhaul or energetic spring clean is going to be required. Uranus is a powerful planetary force that stimulates freedom, liberation and enlightenment, so do your best to go with the flow of what it brings into focus for you. Following through with the process of change that it has instigated, will help you awaken latent potential needed for the next part of your journey.
Mercury turned retrograde on March 5th and as a consequence will spend an unusually long time in in the energies of Pisces, in close proximity to the planet Neptune. This will provide us with an interesting opportunity to explore our inner reality with a view to gaining new and more expanded perspectives. Take your time with this and be aware of the potential for both illusory and enlightened ‘realities’ to reveal themselves. Mercury turns direct again on March 28th.
The Influence of Pisces
The sun has been in Pisces since February 18th enveloping us in a magnification of the qualities and ray energies associated with this constellation.
In western astrology Pisces is represented by the sign of two fish apparently swimming in different directions while held together by a thread, a symbol that serves as a constant reminder to us to look beyond the illusion of separation and to bring greater unity to personality and soul.
Pisces is the last sign in the zodiac and as such brings closure to the spiritual year, so a focus on endings and beginnings is always an important theme at this time of the year. We can expect the watery energies of Pisces to stimulate the cleansing and release of anything that we do not need to take with us into the new zodiacal cycle. Kindness and compassion are qualities inherent within Piscean energy so remember to employ them for yourself as you review progress and look to the future this month.
March Equinox
We can expect the time around the equinox on March 20th to bring us valuable insight and new perspectives for our way forward over the coming twelve months.
The equinoxes and solstices are important points of focus in the year when the Earth and her inhabitants receive particularly powerful downloads of high frequency light containing new coding and instruction for our spiritual growth and further evolution.
Each one of these downloads builds upon the previous one and the amount of light that we receive is increasing each time, as our capacity to absorb and integrate it grows.
The equinox this month promises to be especially powerful as the energies that we receive at this time will be further amplified by a powerful full moon. As the sun crosses the Aries point on its way from Pisces to Aries, it will be conjunct Chiron, which will have the effect of illuminating anything that stands in your way of fully embodying your true self.
Initially this illumination might feel painful as deep old wounds open for healing, so if this is your experience be kind to yourself and recognise that the energy is helping you to release everything that is unsustainable if you are to embody your soul purpose.
Time for a Reality Check
March promises to be an eventful month energetically, one that is full of potential if we can successfully ride the waves of change and embrace the new beginnings that it will bring forward.
There are some powerful cosmic influences around this month and some of these will be long lasting ones that will continue to work with us over the coming few years.
This new energetic focus will undoubtedly mean that action/ change will need to be implemented in one or more areas of our lives in order for us to continue to expand in consciousness. In fact, we are being encouraged to consider a ‘reality check’ in which we carefully review our current version of reality and allow for the possibility that some of the things that we have taken for granted as being our ‘truth’ might now be ready for retirement.
We are all only too familiar with the old uncomfortable stories that have followed us from lifetime to lifetime and that can still form part of who we think we are. Fear, guilt, grief, resentment and disempowering thoughts like ‘I am not good enough’ or ‘I can’t do it’ all contribute to the reality we consider to be ‘us’. We are all working with these distorted versions of reality and will most likely find ourselves reviewing them again over the coming months.
However, alongside this process of releasing the old there is another, even more important reality check that we need to make for ourselves. This one involves the acceptance that we are multidimensional beings, and the experience of this as a conscious reality from a place of deep inner knowing. To help with this, ask yourself the question; what if I am already ‘big’, powerful and influential enough to consciously affect my environment for the good of all? Ponder how your belief structure and version of reality needs to expand for you to consciously own all of the light and love that is you, as a multidimensional being.
What if the majority of what you have been told about yourself and now think to be true is a disempowering reality that can be changed by replacing it with another much more expanded version? Consider how much easier it would be to transform those old uncomfortable stories if you could see them from the perspective of your multidimensional self.
The energies over the next few weeks and months will be seeking to help you upgrade and expand your version of reality. Go with the flow as best you can and remember that we are being encouraged to dig deeper than ever before because the doorway stands wide open for us to embody more of our true self than we have been able to for a very, very long time.
Essence Suggestions for March
Vibrational essences are some of the best tools we know for helping to expand consciousness and shift realities. Since the energies this month definitely have a focus on assisting the disintegration of old disempowering realities, we thought we would use this month’s Essence Suggestions to highlight some combinations that might be particularly helpful in this energy flow.
Heart Based Foundations
Every reality that we subscribe to has to have sufficient foundation to hold it in place. As we expand our reality to include more of our multidimensional self it is the consciousness of the heart that forms the foundational structure for us to be able to do this. If you find yourself struggling to hold an expanded awareness of yourself start with some essences that work to expand the consciousness of the heart. Here are some suggestions for you to check out. The most obvious choices here are either a Heart Chakra, Higher Heart Chakra or Open to Receive; creating abundance combination.
Where there is a difficulty with forgiveness or an inability to love yourself blocking the heart, check out; Forgiveness; transforming guilt and Self-Acceptance; restoring unconditionality.
In our experience Karmic Fuchsia is a wonderful essence to help facilitate the quick release of those painful emotions that can sometimes get stuck in the heart chakra and then refuse to budge however hard we try to release them. In this situation take a dose of Fuchsia and sit quietly with yourself. Let it bring the emotion into awareness so that you can feel it more easily. Repeat the dose after 30mins if needed and let the next layer of emotion ping to the surface. Repeat for a few more doses as necessary.
Vision & Creativity
Expanding our version of reality requires both vision and creativity, both attributes that tend to get closed down or even persecuted in a 3/4th dimensional reality. The vision that we are highlighting here is the ability to see beyond the common reality held by the majority of the human collective consciousness. Either Brow Chakra or Vision from the Inner Child Essences would help expand your inner vision and knowing.
The ability to follow our inspiration and creative flow is essential for expanding our version of reality. For support with this check out Creativity; restoring individuality or Spontaneity; freeing the inner child.
Expressing Your truth
The ability to express your truth with honesty and sincerity are important aspects of maintaining an expanded reality. If you find this a challenge, then either a Throat Chakra combination or a Loving Communication; honest self-expression combination might be just what you need to help you move on this month.
