As is so often the case these days the weather seems to be mirroring the volatile and unexpected nature of the energy flow. As September approached there was an abrupt end to the summer weather almost as though a switch had been flicked. There is now a distinct feeling of Autumn in the air something that is also reflected in the garden and countryside around us.
We are doing our best to ‘stay on the surfboard’ and flow gracefully with whatever comes along, even though there is also a part of us going ‘hold on we are not feeling ready for winter yet’. Hopefully, there are still some more warm sunny days to come to help us acclimatise to the change of seasons in a less abrupt fashion.

The Energies of September
A good way to sum up what the energies of September have in store for us would be to say that the roller coaster ride of transformation looks set to continue to increase in intensity.
The winds of change are blowing in, both literally and figuratively, and they are gathering force. This is not something to be concerned about, but it will help to expect the unexpected and be prepared to flow through any transformational opportunities that come your way.
Full Moon in Pisces
The moon was full on September 2nd bringing us a feminine infusion of earth and water energies that were relatively gentle in nature. Issues around health and well-being might well have been illuminated for you in this energy flow.
This is a great time to listen to yourself, and then to plan what is important for you to be able to maintain physical, emotional, and mental well-being over the coming few months. For instance, a cleanse, more regular exercise, time for yourself etc.
Driving the Change
The cosmic line up this month definitely has a focus on driving change in all aspects of life. In the early part of the month relationships will be the main focus of attention. There will be an opportunity here to re-evaluate, restructure or release relationships that are not aligned with the next part of your journey. This includes the relationship that you have with yourself at all levels. In this situation adjustments will be focussed on expanding the alignment with your soul/spirit.
As the month progresses Mars will turn retrograde in Aries and appear to travel backwards through the cosmos in relation to the Earth. In so doing it will reactivate many of the planetary alignments that we experienced earlier in year, bringing to the fore everything that 2020 has been about. We could sum this up in one little word: change.
There is a lot that no longer works in our world and we have reached a point in our evolution where change can no longer be put off. The energies this month will be supporting us every step of the way to make those changes. It will highlight all of the places where we are out of alignment with our truth and encourage us to evaluate our purpose and direction in life. Make no mistake this is a really positive energy, but it might feel a little intense if we unconsciously resist the flow, so try to stay present with yourself and allow what needs to unfold to do so.
Of course, this is not just an inner personal process that is taking place, it is also one that is simultaneously taking place on the world stage amidst much drama and chaos as everything that needs to change comes forward for all to see. We can best influence the outcome of this uncomfortable process of transformation by keeping the bigger picture in mind and doing our best to stay focussed on our own process of change through the choices that we make.
The Influence of Virgo
All the other planetary activities this month are set against the backdrop of inflowing energies from the constellation of Virgo.
Aligning with the highest potential of the feminine, earthy, nurturing qualities of Virgo energy will take us deep into the realm of the feminine goddess, the Mother principle and the gestation of new life.
In the magnified flow of Virgo energies, we are reminded of the inherent unity between spirit and matter and the need to nurture and grow the light of our own divinity within the physical form that we are currently inhabiting.
At a practical level, Virgo energies stimulate the desire to be of service, so we can also expect its influence to reveal any aspects of our lives that need adjustment so that we can align more fully with our true purpose. This is in perfect alignment with the direction of transformational change that is taking place so allow this supportive, creative feminine energy to help you flow into new alignments within yourself.
What Do You Choose?
A good way to sum up what the energies of September have in store for us would be to say that the roller coaster ride of transformation looks set to continue to increase in intensity.
This is a question that the universe is constantly asking us and one that we might usefully keep in the fore front of our minds over the coming weeks and months.
The arrival of CV19 at the beginning of the year created a giant ‘reset’ moment in which normal reality had to be put on hold for a while. This interruption to routine upset the status quo and meant that many people stopped to re-evaluate their lives and began to see that they would like things to be different. Meanwhile the chaos and confusion in the world associated with the shift in consciousness that we are currently negotiating, appears to more obvious and challenging than ever.
So, in the midst of all this how do we make a difference? How do we actually choose something new?
These are such important questions and the answers to them require us to focus on the bigger picture lying behind the more obvious everyday situations. It is also good to keep in mind just how important our own everyday choices are in the manifestation of that bigger picture of reality.
Whatever our reality is, it is made up of vibrational frequencies connected to our thoughts, beliefs and emotions. As a collective consciousness humanity creates a consensus agreement based on the predominance of particular vibrational frequencies and ‘reality’ then appears to operate from this agreement. Rising consciousness and the consequent desire for change means that old agreements are breaking down and the possibility for new ‘realities’ to be created is now strongly to the fore.
We are often reminded that the universe is constantly rearranging itself to accommodate our version of reality, so it follows that when enough of us hold our focus on something new the old will slowly but surely have to fade from view.
Being extremely mindful of the vibrational contribution that we make through our own thoughts, beliefs and feelings is one of the ways that we can contribute to the creation of something new. It is also an important and empowering way that we can answer the question of how to make a real difference.
Making a commitment to yourself to fully align with your own inner truth and light will greatly enhance your ability to stay focussed on the bigger picture of what is taking place and also to draw upon the frequencies of your soul/spirit to support your choices in the everyday world of form.
It will also help to remember that you are a much-valued part of a huge collective consciousness and that you are being guided and supported through this transformational journey every step of the way. This is why we came this time – to make a difference. Remember?
Essence Suggestions for September
Our theme this month is the importance of focussing on thoughts and feelings that resonate with the reality that we would like to experience.
Vibrational essences are just such wonderful tools to support us with this process of making new choices. They have the ability to help dissolve and transform the old emotional patterns and thought forms that we no longer choose to have in our version of reality. They will also encourage an expansion of consciousness so that we can more easily consolidate the vibrational shift that we have chosen to make.
Our essence suggestions this month are focussed on providing support for some of the most fundamental issues that we face in the process of realigning our vibrational frequency so that we can manifest new choices of reality.
Managing your Energetic Space
Perhaps the most important of all of these issues concerns our ability to stay in our own energetic space and to grant ourselves permission to think and feel for ourselves, regardless of what others around us might be doing.
So many of the old agreements that are now breaking down do not support independence or value the uniqueness of the contribution that each of us has to offer. Instead they have centred on safety and conformity and discouraged self- empowerment. Possibly these patterns have been useful in the past, but they have now definitely passed their sell by date.
If you should find yourself needing to strengthen energetic boundaries, feeling over-sensitive to the vibrational frequencies around you or unable to maintain the vibrational choices that you would like to make for yourself this month then the Solar Plexus Chakra combination might be just what you need to help.
