March has arrived and we are enjoying the beautiful, spring like weather that it has brought with it as we write this. Despite the severely windy weather of a few weeks ago our garden has continued to come to life and the first spring blossoms are now revealing themselves in the hedgerows and countryside around us. There is something very comforting and stabilising in this peaceful unfolding that is most welcome in these times of turbulence and change.

The mother tincture making season has begun early this year with batches of both Snowdrop and Yew able to be made on a beautiful sunny morning last week. We are now watching the Cherry Plum ready to catch it at just the right moment for making over the next few weeks. Always a fun time of the year!

The Energies of March

The energies of March are a complex weave of fast flowing, action orientated threads interwoven with opportunities for beautiful, expansive, and enlightening spiritual connection.

It will be a powerful month and one in which we will need to be very aware of the focus and intention that we choose to hold. All the major planets are in forward motion during March, and this will provide us with a very positive energy flow that will help us to complete old projects or turbo charge the beginning of new ones.

The cosmic line-up this month continues to hold the patterning for fast moving change and transformation. It will be highlighting those old issues that cannot be sustained if we are to move beyond a polarity-based consciousness, sometimes in very stark terms.

This is not comfortable energy, especially when it plays out in the kind of brutal way that it is doing in the world right now. Yet the solutions are also present within the energy flow if we can just remember to open our hearts and align with the massive influx of light and love that is available to us from Source, through our connection to our multidimensional self.

It might help to remember that everything that is happening, internally and externally, is part of the evolutionary upgrade that we are now in the midst of. The already powerful energy flow associated with this process will continue to intensify and build into the full moon and Equinox later in the month.

Keep in mind that every aspect of us is in continual adjustment to keep up with the changes that this energy is demanding of us and that you may need to take extra time to rest, relax and integrate this month.

The speed of change is huge, way beyond anything that we have experienced in a body before. Remember that you are here with purpose in this incarnation and that you know exactly how to negotiate and assist with these changes.

New Moon

The new moon this month was on March 2nd and hopefully you were able to enjoy the very creative, feminine nature of this new moon in Pisces.

That flow will still be available for a few days yet so take time out to open up to your intuitive guidance and let your creativity have free reign. This is an important time for planting seeds for a new future. One that is based in greater spiritual awareness, truth, freedom, and unconditional love. Venus, Mars and Pluto conjunct in Capricorn will also help to highlight relationship dynamics and especially the need for balanced power in relationship, whether with ourselves or others.

Let the flowing energies of watery Pisces help you to negotiate this energy with greater ease. It reminds us that we are all connected, and that love, and higher perspective will help you find greater balance if needed.

Mars conjunct Pluto is tough energy, even when softened by the presence of Venus. It is great for focus and will provide the impetus for completing your goals, but it will also bring the energies of conflict and warlike behaviour to the surface so will need to be used mindfully if possible.

Full Moon

The full moon this month is on March 18th at 07.17 UK time. Full moons tend to turn a spotlight onto anything we are ready to release and let go of. With the moon in Virgo opposite the sun in Pisces we will have an opportunity to review issues around self-criticism and perfectionism and to allow greater balance where needed.

Neptune will be a strong influence at this full moon so there is potential for wonderful spiritual insights to be available at a higher level but also a degree of confusion and illusion if we are not very discerning about how this energy is being reflected into the everyday world. This will be a time to trust your intuition and higher guidance rather than outer appearances.

The Influence of Pisces

The sun has been in Pisces since February 18th enveloping us in a magnification of the qualities and ray energies associated with this constellation.

In western astrology Pisces is represented by the sign of two fish apparently swimming in different directions while held together by a thread, a symbol that serves as a constant reminder to us to look beyond the illusion of separation and to bring greater unity to personality and soul. 

Pisces is the last sign in the zodiac and as such brings closure to the astrological year, so a focus on endings and beginnings is always an important theme at this time of the year. We can expect the watery energies of Pisces to stimulate the cleansing and release of anything that we do not need to take with us into the new zodiacal cycle.

Kindness and compassion are qualities inherent within Piscean energy so remember to employ them for yourself as you review progress and look to the future this month.

The Equinox and a new Astrological Year

The equinoxes and solstices are important points of focus in the year when we receive powerful transmissions of high frequency light containing new coding and instruction for our spiritual growth & further evolution.

Each one of these energetic downloads builds upon the previous one, gradually expanding our capacity to absorb and integrate more Source light and love. The equinox on March 20th will bring us the next instalment of these consciousness expanding energies and a grand opportunity to move deeper into our spiritual journey.

The sun will cross the Aries point on its way from Pisces to Aries on March 20th at 3.33pm simultaneously marking the end of the astrological year and the beginning of a new one. Aries energy is strong, fiery, and fast moving and we will need to fully occupy the driving seat of our lives to be able to negotiate this energy to advantage. More about this next month.

Negotiating Contrasting Streams of Reality

Many streams of reality continue to play out on our planet and some of these are difficult to understand and even more difficult to watch as they continue to unfold in ways that we had perhaps not believed were possible.

Keeping our focus in our hearts and firmly on the higher perspective of what is playing out will be important if we are to negotiate these contrasting streams with a degree of ease over the coming weeks and months.

Waves of fear, shock and disbelieve spread like wildfire around the planet last week when Russia moved into Ukraine. The energies of conflict triggered deep karmic memories for many people, while others went into doubt and despair thinking that we are going backwards and should have been able to do better.

Faith in the unfolding of a new world reality was shaken. Fear is contagious and debilitating, it warps our perspective and makes it difficult to see beyond the situation. This is the moment to recognise that this event is an unfortunate consequence of the reboot to a new reality and that our choice of perspective is extremely important to the outcome.

Transforming the Old Games

There are many old games playing out on the planet right now and one of the most obvious is the power, control, and domination game. The energies of transformation are moving this energy to the surface so that it can be seen and released.

This game has played out on the planet for so long it is deeply imprinted into human consciousness and into the fabric of the Earth. We cannot go forward until it has been transformed. Be in no doubt we can have a huge influence on the outcome of the events just through the choices that we make and the energies that we choose to align with.

Remember that all these old games, including this one, are based on polarities so it is important that we keep in mind that we cannot balance and harmonise any polarity by energising one end of it, no matter how the situation might look. We can best be of service by standing back from the unfolding drama and doing the best we can to hold the entire situation in vibrations of love, light, and peace.

To be able to achieve this, we will need to pay close attention to what is triggered off for us and then work mindfully with any issues we see, in order to be able to make new choices. Making sure that you are fully grounded, focussed in your heart, and conscious of what you are feeling will all help with this.
