Welcome to September and the last quarter of the year! Doesn’t seem possible that we could already be just a few short weeks away from the Equinox and the beginning of Autumn.
We have almost completed our mother tincture making for the year and are now turning our attention to our drought-stricken garden and what we can do to make sure that we have plants and flowers for next year. We have had very little rain over the last few weeks here in Norfolk, like so many places in the UK, and our garden is really looking rather sorry for itself.
Many things have finished early for the season and others are clearly struggling. But despite the difficulties we do still have some lovely roses coming into bloom as the weather cools off and there is the promise of rain coming in over the next week or so to help everything regenerate. We are keeping our fingers crossed!

The Energies of September
As we go through the last quarter of this year the cosmic energy flow is going to take us on a roller coaster ride of intensity in which we will find ourselves revisiting some of the themes that we have been working with, on and off, over the last two years.

It will be an opportunity to make new choices as well as yet more changes.
We will feel this energetic intensity beginning to build as we go through September and into the eclipse season of October and November. These energies are not particularly subtle, and we are likely to see more turbulent, fast-moving events happening in the world as further hidden secrets, corruption and untruths are revealed.
Keep in mind that this is consciousness raising energy and is designed to awaken us and move us up the spiral of evolution. Be prepared to allow the thoughts, emotions and beliefs that have created the filters that you have engaged with life through up to now, to be transformed and rearranged. Yes, we know that this has been an ongoing process for some time now, but there is a new level of change and opportunity available in these energies that we can take advantage of if we choose carefully.
This month we will be revisiting the themes of the Pluto/ Eris and Saturn/ Uranus squares that were so powerful in 2020 and that have continued to influence our energetic landscape ever since. The energies of these squares clearly illuminate the struggle that is going on in every aspect of life to release the old third dimensional patterning so that we can move into a more expanded fifth dimensional one.
Over the coming weeks and months, we are likely to see the dynamics of power and control playing out even more intensely in the world, alongside equally strong demands for freedom and change to a new world order. The Aquarian Age that we are moving into will bring an emphasis to individual freedoms and the power of the people rather than the power of the state, governments, churches, and other authorities that do not have the good of the whole as a motivating force.
In the energy flow this month we are likely to see these opposing energies playing out even more clearly so it will be important to stay grounded, connected and centred in your heart energy as much as you can so that you can follow your own truth and intuition regardless of what might be playing out around you.
The Influence of Virgo
All the other planetary activities this month are set against the backdrop of inflowing energies from the constellation of Virgo. Aligning with the highest potential of the feminine, earthy, nurturing qualities of Virgo energy will take us deep into the realm of the feminine goddess, the Mother principle and the gestation of new life.
In the magnified flow of Virgo energies, we are reminded of the inherent unity between spirit and matter and the need to nurture and grow the light of our own divinity within the physical form that we are currently inhabiting.
At a practical level, Virgo energies stimulate the desire to be of service, so we can expect its influence this month to bring to the fore any aspects of our lives that need adjustment so that we can align more fully with our true purpose.
Full Moon in Pisces
The full moon this month is in Pisces and is exact at 11am UK time on September 10th. This is fluid, intuitive, and expansive energy which will be enhanced by having five planets in mutable signs, which means that there will be a lot of adaptable, flexible, creative energy around.
The opportunity to connect into vibrations of unconditional love, oneness and compassion is greatly available here. The Moon is also conjunct Neptune so remember to stay grounded and to be very discerning about what is being presented to you as ‘reality’.
These full moon energies are likely to turn a spotlight onto corruption, lies, and deceits that have been previously covered up to serve the interests of those seeking to retain power and control. They may also be very revealing of anything that we are covering up from ourselves that is not in alignment with our True Self, so remember to be kind to yourself and just allow anything that needs to transform, a loving space to do so.
There are also threads in the energetics this month that will stimulate mental activity and bring in lots of information and new ideas. This could feel overwhelming in the fluid, watery energies of the full moon so again remember to stay grounded and in a heart space so that you can more easily discern what resonates as truth for you.
Mercury Retrograde
Mercury will station retrograde on September 10th and will remain so until October 3rd, bringing us an opportunity for inner reflection and review.
Equinox
The Sun moves into Libra on September 23rd at 2.04am UK time, triggering the Autumn / Spring Equinox depending upon where you are in the world. This will be a powerful time because the Sun is conjunct the super galactic centre in Libra, opening up a portal for more high frequency energies to flow onto the planet.
Libra and the energies of the equinox will emphasise the qualities of balance and harmony and the need to make choices that are for the good of all humanity, despite the ongoing disruption and volatility caused by clashing ideologies and resistance to change.
New Moon
The new moon this month is on September 25th at 10.55pm UK time. This Libra new moon is exactly conjunct the super galactic centre which will make it a powerful time to tune in and gather up the higher wisdom and information that will become available to us if we are open to it. This is a wonderful opportunity to set new directions for your future.
The Energies of Awakening
The energies this month have a very definite focus on waking us up and helping us to fully shake off the dis-empowering malaise of many lifetimes lived in the separation of a third dimensional reality. We have been experiencing this with ever increasing intensity for quite a few years now, but we seem to be entering into a time where the focus is getting even tighter and the energies more insistent.
Going through change of this kind is far from easy, even when you are conscious of what is going on. For those who are still waking up to the bigger picture it can appear to be a confusing, disorientating, and scary situation which has no obvious solutions. Never underestimate the help that you can provide to people like this simply by keeping your own vibrational frequency steady so that they can pick up on the vibration and use it to see their way forward more easily.
The Realities of Fast Track Change
We all have a third dimensional physical body that carries the patterns and limitations of third dimensional existence as part of its make up. As our consciousness expands and we learn to hold higher and higher frequencies of light, the physical body has to change to accommodate this as do our etheric, emotional, and mental bodies.
In the process we can experience wonderful moments of illumination and connectedness as well as feelings of weariness, despair, and disorientation.
Our everyday minds can have a hard job keeping up with the changing perspectives and new understandings that are part of an awakening consciousness. It can also take time to learn how to stabilise our vibrational frequency so that we can live fully in the reality of our new understandings.
Awakening energies trigger off deep patterns that are often painful and we can find ourselves temporarily experiencing resistance and an inability to see past an old story.
Change of this kind happening internally means that our relationships and outer reality also have to change, often in ways that are disruptive and difficult to deal with, even though we might be able to see that they are necessary.
Remember to Breath & Allow
Under these circumstances it is hardly surprising that our human selves sometimes feel stressed, overwhelmed and in need of a little rest, relaxation, and TLC. This would be a good month to keep this in mind and to make sure that you are giving yourself enough time and space to integrate the changes that the energies are bringing forward.
If you feel stress and resistance, take a moment to breath, and identify which old story is trying to get your attention so that it can be recognised and released. Spend time in your heart and check in with your soul spirit each day so that you stay aligned with your inner truth, and above all be kind to yourself – you are doing a great job!

Vibrational Essences are wonderful tools to help support you through the process of awakening in all of its many forms. When you feel stuck, they will gently ease you past the resistance by dissolving some of the old energies holding the ‘story’ in place.

Upgrading Your Chakras
Our physical, etheric, mental & emotional bodies are constantly being impulse to change and upgrade by the ever-increasing high frequency light flowing onto our planet and into us. This means that our chakra system also has to expand its capacity to facilitate the changes required.
Our lower chakras that relate to the functioning of the physical body are being particularly impacted at the moment as they have to constantly adjust to make sure that we have adequate foundations for our awakening consciousness.
If you come across an old ‘story’ that carries a third dimensional frequency causing you a problem this month, it is highly likely that you will find an imprint in one of the lower chakras that needs your attention.
This month we could well find ourselves revisiting old stories as we respond to the energies of awakening, so here is a reminder of the themes that relate to chakras 1-4:
- Base Chakra; anything to do with your physical wellbeing & security, functionality in the everyday world, fears, stability, and grounding.
- Sacral Chakra; anything to do with balance in relationships, stability of emotions, creativity, and self-acceptance.
- Solar Plexus Chakra; anything to do with personal power and will, self-definition, boundaries, and positive emotional expression.
- Heart Chakra; anything to do with connectedness, unconditional loving relationships, trust, and inner peace.
Relationships
Big changes are often reflected in our relationships, especially with those we are closest to.
Here are two essence combinations that might be particularly helpful for anyone dealing with relationship issues this month. Loving Communication; honest self-expression for those times when you need to express something that is important to you in a loving and honest way.
Healing Relationships; restoring intimacy & trust, when painful old memories from the past are blocking your ability to be fully present and loving in your current relationship.

Accepting Yourself
Such an important theme this one! Virgo energies can sometimes illuminate our inner critic in uncomfortable ways, so do be on the look out for any threads of this going on in your awareness over the next few weeks.
It is very hard to make positive changes within ourselves if we are criticising and judging ourselves for what we wish to release. If you should find yourself in this position either an Inner Freedom; transforming judgement or a Self-Acceptance; restoring unconditionality combination would quickly help you find a more loving space for yourself.
