September 2025: the E-Light Newsletter

In this month's E-Light Newsletter we explore the powerful opportunity we are being offered to close out the old and to consciously choose something new for our future.  We look at how we can do this by choosing to step into our own power and authority and take full responsibility for ourselves and our creative choices.

We also look at the highlights and opportunities of the cosmic energy flow this month, explore the gift of the last eclipses for this year as well as looking at how we can best align ourselves with the powerful energies of the Libra Equinox.

As always, we highlight some flower, gem & crystal essences that might be particularly useful to help us move through the month in harmony & balance.

The Gift of Choice

Endings and New Beginnings

The second half of September and the next three months leading up to the December solstice look like being quite a fun ride, so get ready to hold onto your hats! The energies of change are increasing in speed and velocity again, offering us all some magnificent opportunities to set ourselves free from old programming and redundant third dimensional patterning.

This might not always feel entirely comfortable in the moment though, so remember to be very mindful of the choices that you make for yourself this month. Are they new choices or are you following an old well-worn set of tracks leading to old choices?

The cosmic energy flow this month has a focus on helping us let go of the old at great speed. This may bring about endings and new beginnings in your own life and it may also create a ‘tipping’ effect on all of those old structures in our world that are unable to be flexible enough as the winds of change increase. Make no mistake the cosmic alignments for the rest of this year are all designed to lighten our load, shake us about, spin us around and offer us the opportunity for new beginnings.

September is a month to take full responsibility for yourself and to very mindful about how you maintain your own energetic space. Make sure that every choice you make adds fuel to what you do want to see for the future and not what you do not. This can be something as simple as the everyday thoughts that you think about yourself to the amount of energy, emotion and attention that you give to something that you see on the news or in a post on Facebook. There is a vast divergence of differing energy streams in the world at the moment, and they all present you with choices. The simple question you might ask yourself when presented with these is – what is the underlying energy that I can feel here? Is it based in fear, restriction, limitation, control or manipulation or is it based in love, freedom, respect and a desire for the highest good for all.

The gift of choice is being offered to us freely and in abundance right now, in ways that have not been possible in the old energy flow. But we always have free will so it is up to us to use our discernment and inner knowing to make the choices for ourselves that will take us in the direction of what we want to create for our future and for the future of humanity as a collective.

Essences to help

• Clarity: this is the essence to take when you have temporarily lost sight of the bigger picture and find yourself going round and round in your lower mind, feeling confused and unable to see the way forward or make a decision. This combination will help to relax the mental body, encourage the mind to expand and reconnect you with the perspective of your soul and higher mind. You will then be able to see which choice is best for you and all concerned.
• Inner Certainty: when we are faced with unexpected situations that require us to make an important  choice of direction, doubt is one of the old patterns that can easily be triggered off for some people. This is a legacy of many lifetimes in third dimensional consciousness, attempting to fit in with the requirements of society and feeling unable to follow your own inner knowing. This combination will help transform doubt into inner certainty so that you can see your way forward more clearly.
• Auric Protection Spray: this is the spray to use at any time where you are finding it difficult to maintain your own energetic space, something that is so important when it comes to using your discernment and making positive choices for yourself. Particularly helpful for those who are over sensitive to others emotions and thoughts, experience an ‘energy drain’ in groups, need help with psychic protection, or struggle to separate their emotions from other people’s in emotionally charged situations.

The Cosmic Energy Flow for September

The cosmic energy flow this month is making it very clear to us that the opportunity is here for us to make a giant leap into higher consciousness. The picture reflected to us from the cosmos, both this month and upcoming, is clearly indicating an opportunity for us to make a brand-new start on a higher octave of awareness. Endings often precede new beginnings and there could be a degree of intensity attached to these, so just remember to open your heart and mind to new understandings and follow the thread of energy that aligns most with your highest intention for yourself.

Check in carefully as you do – is it fear or love that underpins the choices you are considering? From a surface perspective the choices we are offered are not always obvious, so it pays to be very discerning. Let you heart and intuition alert you to when something unwanted is being disguised as something desirable but is really designed to lure you back into the old.

If you find yourself feeling as though you are being pushed out of your comfort zone from time to time this month, just remember to breath, stay in your body and do your best to be willing to change. The universe has your back, and all is well even when it feels a bit challenging and uncomfortable.

Essences to help

• Being Present: we can often forget in times of rapid change and redirection that the very best thing we can do to help ourselves negotiate the situation, is to stay firmly anchored into our bodies and connected to whatever is going on. This is the essence to use to help remind yourself of this. It will bring you back into your body, anchor you firmly into the present moment and help you to see how to work with whatever is presenting itself to you for resolution.

The last Eclipses for 2025

The full moon eclipse that we had on September 7th was powerful and energetically intense as eclipses tend to be. With the Moon in Pisces this was a deeply spiritual and emotional full moon, and you may well have found yourself coming out of it with a heightened awareness or a new perspective on how to move forward in your life. Maybe there was a recognition of something that needed to change in the way you see yourself or a willingness to explore new things where you have not been able to in the past. There was an illumination here of the need for us to weave a more spiritual perspective of life into our material existence. 

The last eclipse for 2025 occurs on September 21st. This is a partial solar eclipse and the second new moon in Virgo that we have had this year. Poised right on the last degree of Virgo, the Sun is within 24 hours of moving into Libra. The last degree of any sign is a potent degree, offering opportunities for extensive soul growth. This is powerful energy with a focus on opening new doorways and closing old ones, so go with the flow and follow the thread of what feels particularly alive for you in the energy flow over the next few weeks and months.

There is also a strong emphasis here on self-care and looking after your physical, emotional, mental & spiritual wellbeing. Each of these aspects of us need to be in balance for us to be able to bring greater wholeness into our lives. Notice anything that might particularly flag up for you over the next few weeks in any of these realms and give yourself time and space to connect in and make any adjustments that might be needed.

Essences to help

• Creativity: the energies this month are encouraging us to find our own creative flow and use it to bring forward our own unique soul gifts in new more expanded ways. This is the essence to use when you need a little support to unlock your creative flow, or are struggling to give yourself permission and freedom to be yourself.
• Energetic Alignment: this is the spray to use when you need to bring greater alignment to all aspects of yourself – physically, emotionally, mentally & spiritually. It will very quickly help to align all your subtle energy bodies, chakras and subtle energy points into greater alignment so that you more easily access your soul’s wisdom and love. 

The Libra Equinox

On September 22nd the Sun moves into Libra at 7.19pm UK time, triggering the Autumn/Spring Equinox, depending upon where you live in the world. Equinoxes and Solstices are always powerful times as the planetary grids enter a period of alignment and harmony, allowing greater quantities of high frequency light to be absorbed onto and into the Earth. So as we enter into that period of equal light and dark on the planet connect deeply with the Earth and the Cosmos and allow yourself to find a more expanded place of harmony within yourself.

This is a particularly unusual and powerful Equinox energetically because it is influenced by so many planetary alignments, all speaking of the opportunity to move onto a new trajectory, a new beginning. Alongside this, there is a strong thread of energy, impulsing us to clean up the past, personally and collectively, which again emphasises endings and new beginnings & choices. This will be a time of digging deep and taking full responsibility for anything that you find in the process.

Taking Responsibility for Ourselves

One of the keys to being able to negotiate these changing times with a degree of ease rests in our ability to stand in our personal authority and to choose to take full responsibility for ourselves.  

As we negotiate the energies this month and onwards for the rest of the year, we are very likely to encounter any residues of ‘victim patterning’ that we might still be holding on to. This is a very old third dimensional pattern that has kept us feeling small, prevented us from stepping into our own authority and has also done a very good job of keeping us in an easily controllable state.

We have all experienced this pattern in one way or another during our many lifetimes on planet Earth and it has become deeply embedded in the human collective consciousness. It is very insidious, and it now requires enough people to make a free will choice to step out of it, to ensure that it becomes part of our past. It is worth recognising that educational and religious institutions, governments, and health organisations all have threads of this pattern running through them making them ripe for change in the current energy flow.

Choose to Become the Authority in your Life

This pattern of disempowerment has reduced our creativity, limited personal development and made it difficult for us to understand how the universe works and how we fit into it as spiritual beings. It is a pattern based in separation and polarity consciousness and can only exist as long as we are willing to play the game and not step into our own power and authority.

In the energy flow that we have this month the theme of cleaning up the past is very strong and will likely take us to any places where we have still got residues of this pattern. We are being reminded that we are the authority in our own lives and that most importantly, we are a creative force on this planet. Our inter connectedness with each other, Mother Earth and the Cosmos now needs to be recognised and honoured consciously. We have the power to make change, and it is time to step into it.

This process will be different for each of us and does not have to be big or dramatic, in fact it is more likely to be a quiet process of inner realignment.
A question you could ask yourself is; am I living from the inside out or from the outside in? This could be as simple as a habit of seeking others’ opinions rather than following your own gut instinct or intuition. If you pay attention, you might notice that when you try to follow what others think is right, there is an internal resistance within you, or that you lose confidence and cannot achieve what you set out to do fully. This is because you have stepped out of your personal authority and as a result have lost the thread of your inner knowing and direction. As soon as you step back into yourself you will be back in the driving seat, and your creation will start to unfold.  

Old patterns like this one are always driven by the left-brain logical mind that is doing its best to keep us safe and in the old tracks. Access to your personal and spiritual power lies in your heart space. Just moving into your heart and reassuring your mind that all is well can be very powerful in connecting you back into your personal authority and creativity.

Essences to help

• Solar Plexus Chakra: this combination is the one to use when you need to bring the old patterns of  the solar plexus chakra into greater balance so that you can step firmly into your own personal power and authority. 
• Self Responsibility: residues of old patterns relating to ‘victim consciousness’ can often show themselves as threads of resentment, bitterness or blame, or perhaps a feeling that something is not fair in some way.  Use this combination to help dissolve these low frequency energies so that you are free to take full responsibility for yourself and to step into your power as a co-creator.
• Heart Connection Spray: this is a wonderful spray to use anytime you need help to open your heart more fully so that you can see your life from the perspective of unity consciousness rather than separation and polarity.
