Delivery to the U.S.A.

Unfortunately we are temporarily suspending shipments to the U.S.A., but hopefully only for a week or so!

This relates to the U.S. governments change to their de minimis value, which was the threshold below which imported goods were not subject to duties, taxes, or extensive customs procedures, so long as they had a value of $800 or less. This threshold has now been removed for most commercial imports as from 29th August 2025, meaning virtually all commercial shipments are now subject to duties and taxes regardless of value.

The reason for our temporary suspension of delivery is that as from 29th August 2025, orders that we deliver to customers in the U.S. will now incur an import charge that will need to be paid to U.S. customs during the clearing process. What this means in practice is that we will now have to collect the tariff charge at the time that you place your order, and we will then have to pay this charge to U.S. customs as part of the delivery process.

Unfortunately there has been a very short time frame for implementing this and so many postal services around the world are struggling to find a way to collect and pay the tariff Fortunately Royal Mail does have a new system in the pipeline which should come in operation on the 29th August. Once this is up and running on our Royal Mail account and we can accurately calculate the correct tariffs that we will need to pay to U.S. customs, we will add this tariffs to the pricing for our U.S. customers and restart shipping to the U.S. again.

Sorry if all of this sounds complicated, but it should all work smoothly once it's up and running, but U.S. customers will notice a increase of around 10 - 12% which is what we understand the tariff amount to be.
