February 2026: the E-Light Newsletter

In this month's E-Light Newsletter we explore the opportunity for a grand new beginning that is clearly presenting itself to us in the energetic lineup for February. This is the moment that we have been waiting for, the point of no return where it is possible for the new reality we have all been dreaming of, to begin to come into form through the choices that we make. It is indeed the mother of all new beginnings!

We also look at the cosmic energy flow for February and how the Year of the Fire Horse, beginning on February 17th will bring forward energies to help us with the creation of a new reality if used with discernment and authenticity. 
We finish by looking at how you can best navigate the intensity of these times by staying firmly rooted in your own centre, choosing to navigate from the consciousness of your heart and remembering to avoid getting caught up in the energies of distraction and misinformation.

As always, we highlight some flower, gem & crystal essences that might be particularly useful to help us move through the month in harmony & balance.

The Mother of All New Beginnings

The point of no return

The cosmic energy flow for February is hugely exciting, distinctly intense and on course to provide us with an extraordinary ‘new beginning moment’, a moment like no other we have ever been offered.

I am sure you have all been feeling the intensity of this building and have been doing your best to respond to its not very subtle invitation to realign and reorientate yourself with the opportunity that is unfolding. This process of realignment is something that has been going on all through January and is now gathering in intensity as we move through February. The energies of transformation are disrupting the status quo, unequivocally opening up old boxes and exposing ‘stuff’ that has been stored away and that cannot move forward with us.

While it might not feel easy in the moment that you find yourself, yet again, facing something unexpected or difficult to deal with, just remember that this is the time you knew it would be possible to release these old patterns and experiences for good. You know exactly how to do it. Just step forward and go with the flow. You are being supported with the choices that you make every step of the way.

We can see this process of reorientation getting more and more obvious on the world stage right now as many untruths, misinformation and downright lies are exposed and laid bare for us all to see. It is also becoming easier to see through the power games, manipulation and lack of integrity of many of our leaders. Noticing this gives us an important opportunity to avoid judgement and instead to look within ourselves to check whether we are unconsciously still holding any of those patterns within ourselves. They are after all collective patterns that need to be owned and released by all of us.

This is the moment to step fully into your own authenticity and truth and let that carry you forward. There is no more powerful way of helping to shift the reality on our planet than this. Truth and authenticity are contagious and really great reminders to others to step into their own version of them.

While all of this transformational realignment is going on you may well find yourself feeling as though you are somewhat in limbo land or hanging between one thing and another. Knowing that something is changing but not quite sure yet how to go forward. If this is the case be OK with it, many are feeling the same. Just stay present with yourself. We are gathering our forces ready to move at the right time.

Essences to help

• Letting Go; this is the essence to use when you find yourself needing to let go of old emotional attachments or finally dissolve an old relationship. In the energies that we have this month, many of these old issues are again surfacing for our attention. We might well find ourselves looking once more at the dynamics of an old, long finished relationship with recognition that there is still something for us to let go of and resolve. We might also need to let go of a current but clearly finished relationship so that both partners can align with their own truth and authenticity more fully. This powerful combination will support you to let go and move on.  
• Solar Plexus Chakra; this is such a wonderful combination to use when you need support to find your inner centre, stand in your power or create positive healthy boundaries. An excellent essence to use when you are struggling a little to live fully as your authentic, free self.   

The Energies of February

The cosmic energy flow for February is exciting, fast moving, undeniably intense and full to the brim of opportunity. There are two absolutely ‘standout’ events this month that will set the scene for all that follows in the coming months.

New Moon Eclipse

On February 17th we have a New Moon annular eclipse at 28 degrees Aquarius squaring Uranus at 27 degrees Taurus – exact at 12.01pm, UK time. Eclipses are always powerful events, and this one will be no exception. It will be offering us a grand opportunity for a very focussed new beginning, where we can choose to step fully through the doorway into the new energies of rebirth and evolution. This will be a different process for all of us so follow the threads of change that feel right for you.

The influence of Uranus, the planet of freedom and authenticity, may well bring some drama to the fore as the energies of the eclipse illuminate anything that needs to break free and change before we can go forward. Uranus tends to create disruption and encourage unexpected, off the wall events so remember to stay centred, flexible and aware of your intention for yourself. Do your best to avoid being sucked into any new dramas that might be kicked off in the outer world and just send vibrations of peace and love to help the situation deescalate.

Essences to help

• Loving Acceptance Spray; the energies this month are quite intense and not particularly easy to negotiate unless we remember to stay in our hearts. The Loving Acceptance Spray is one of my favourite sprays to use when I need a little nudge to open my heart and to allow whatever is going on around me to be held in the vibrations of acceptance and love.
• The Angel of Compassion; if you should find yourself feeling a little judgemental this month or struggling to see the bigger picture, you might like to invite the Angel of Compassion to expand your capacity to see everything through the eyes of compassion and love. These are frequencies that dissolve anything of a lower vibration and will quickly restore your connection to your truth.

The Year of the Fire Horse

This new moon also signals the beginning of the Chinese New Year and will usher us into the year of the Fire Horse. It is sixty years since we experienced the energies of this sign, so for many this will be the first time that they have encountered this energy in this lifetime. It is definitely not something that will pass by unnoticed! Fire Horse energy is fast moving, passionate, volatile, innovative and demanding of freedom and independence. Stay in your truth and authenticity and the energies of the Fire Horse will carry you forward at great speed. It will be an exciting ride, but we will need to stay centred and very focussed.

Saturn Meets Neptune

On February 21st we have one of the most important and significant planetary alignments of this whole year. This is the meeting of Saturn and Neptune at 0 degrees Aries – the very first degree of the zodiac. Here you have your Mother of all New Beginnings. While Saturn and Neptune meet every 36 years or so, it is more than 6000 years since they actually met precisely at 0 degrees Aries, right on the Aries point of the world axis.

0 degrees of any of the cardinal signs - Aries, Cancer, Libra & Capricorn – which mark the equinoxes and solstices are considered to be on the world axis where their influence can be significant and collective in nature.

This is the beginning of a grand new cycle, and we can expect that over time there will be big changes within the structure of our world as well as within ourselves. Essentially Neptune is opening the door to a new reality beyond the illusions of 3D and Saturn the builder of form is offering the opportunity for us to build the structure that will contain that new reality.  

Make the most of this opportunity and choose very consciously to step into the flow of the new that will be opening up very obviously as we pass this point and taking flight in the energies of the Fire Horse which will be propelling us forward at great speed. This will be the time to step into your truth and authenticity and to allow this to flow into the world to challenge everything that does not align with these important aspects of life.

• Inner Strength; use this essence to help you step fully into your power and light, and to expand the qualities of strength, determination and positivity within you. This would be a very supportive essence for anyone needing some general support in the energy flow this month.
• Strength & Courage Spray; when you are stepping into something new or making big changes in your lives, it is not uncommon to find yourself feeling a little fearful as a result. Use the Strength & Courage Spray to dispel old fearful beliefs and remind you how to step more fully into your inner strength and courage.

Stay firmly in your centre

Negotiating this new energy will undoubtedly be both exciting and exhilarating but probably not without its challenges!

It will be even more important than ever to remember to stay grounded and firmly anchored into your centre as everything speeds up and whirls around you. We need to become our own lighthouse, a steady point of light capable of sustaining us, and those around us. As you create your own personal lighthouse remember to consciously anchor it into the planetary and cosmic grids where it will add to the growing network of light on the planet. This network is growing in strength and power daily and is gradually feeding the creation of a new reality.

With this in mind make sure that you anchor yourself into the Earth every day, feeling deeply into the aliveness of being fully connected with Mother Earth. Draw the love & light of Mother Earth up through your feet, legs and central channel, spinning each of your chakras all the way up to your soul star, connecting you with the Sun and the cosmos. Breathe deeply into these connections allowing the energies to flow freely through and around you, illuminating your ‘lighthouse’ and connecting you with all that you are. Remember to set aside some quiet moments to reconnect with this feeling throughout your day, taking some good deep breaths and allowing your mind and nervous system to slow down and recalibrate as you expand your light.

• Base Chakra; this combination is the one to use anytime you need some support to anchor yourself more fully into your physical body and expand your connections with Mother Earth. An excellent resource this month with so much change going on.
• Earth Connection Spray; spray this essence liberally into your auric field anytime that you need some quick support to get fully into your body or remind yourself how to find the present moment so that you can see anything that might be going on for you with greater clarity.

Navigating with your heart

The new paradigm that we are moving into is the territory of the heart and our heart centres are designed to navigate us through these new energies with ease and understanding. The heart knows our soul truth and will help us to express ourselves authentically from that knowing, provided that we allow it to guide us.

Long habit would have us reference the everyday mind for answers rather than the heart if we are not connected enough to notice what is happening. It will be easy to spot because your everyday mind will tell you an old story based on past experiences rather than help you see all the possibilities open to you. It will just be doing its best to keep you safe within the old boundaries, but this is not what we need to able to move beyond the old. If you should find yourself in this place, move back into your centre, listen to what the mind is telling you, notice what is coming up emotionally and then take it all back to the heart and ask for some help to expand the perspective. It will take some practice to master this, but it will pay dividends in this kind of energy flow.

• Inner Wisdom; use this combination to move deeper into your heart and to expand your capacity to connect with your inner knowing and the wisdom of your soul through your higher mind. A perfect essence to support our progress this month.
• Heart Connection Spray; this is the spray to use when you find yourself going round in your mind and need of a swift reminder of how to get back into your heart centre. Using it consistently for a while will expand the connections into your heart so that you can find them more easily.

Avoid the energy of distraction

Distractions of all kinds are going to be available to us in great numbers over the coming weeks and months. Deliberate misinformation, noisy, fear driven events in the world, a constant barrage of things designed to polarise and separate us, as well as more attempts at control and manipulation are all possibilities, as the old reality gradually gives way to the new. It is important that we remember to keep our frequency high and take great care where we put our attention and what we choose to feed with our energy and light. Just observe and do your best not to get knocked out of your centre. Consciously choose to allow your light to shine more brightly. Hang out with likeminded people and have as much fun as you can doing what feels good for you. Embody the frequencies of love, gratitude and appreciation – they will quickly uplift you and those around you. These are simple choices that we can all make that will greatly impact how quickly everything can change.

• Thankfulness; if you need a little support to connect into the vibrations of thankfulness and gratitude this month this is the essence for you. Let it expand your frequency and connect you into the new reality where vibrations of unconditional love, gratitude and thankfulness abound.
